Psalm 43 1 Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause |
Daily Prayer (based on Psalm 43:3a) Without You, dear Lord, I'm left to grope in darkness. I can't find the path on my own. I can't find life in all its fullness. I'm truly lost and without hope. But You are the light, the light in which all things become clear. You are pure light, more brilliant than anything I can imagine, more pristine than the clearest star. Without You, dear Lord, I'm mired in falsehood and confusion. I cannot know what is right. I cannot know where I fit in the cosmos. But You are the Truth, O God, the Truth in which all other truths hold together, the Truth beyond all human perceptions. In You there is no hint of error or ignorance or inadequacy. Gracious Father, thank You for sending Your Son as the Light of the world, through whom I see all things. Thank You for sending Him as the Truth incarnate, through whom we know You, and who we are, and where we belong in the Your creation.Postscript "Pure Light" O, to see You as You are Copyright © 2004 worshiptogether.com.
